 If you are like most us, the first thing on your mind when you wake up is, COFFEE!!!! The newscasters over in Baltimore think the same way! But today they had "coffee" with Avril Lavigne. Well, not literally, but they did conduct an interview with her early in the morning, when most of us are having our coffee! In this awesome interview, Avril talks exclusively about "Abbey Dawn" and even has some awesome young models showing off the attire! She even goes on to mention that she did this interview with only 2 hours of sleep! How do you do it Av??  It's voting season, people! Bandaids member avril_rocks_mhe has informed us that Avril could be nominated for 4 MTV Europe Music Awards: Most Addictive Track: "When You're Gone," Act of 2008, Headliner, and Best Act Ever. The winners will be announced on November 6th in Liverpool, and it's up to the fans to make sure that the name they shout out for each award is Avril's! Go find out how you can Vote For Avril in the MTV EMAs. Plus, make sure to put in your Vote for Avril Bandaids in the DMAs if you haven't done so today.
P.S. Yes, we are aware that our icon is for last year's EMAs. Just picture "'08" and "Liverpool". This blogger doesn't have the resources to make a new icon right now.

 As you all know Avril Bandaids has always strived to be a free website for all it's members. You may be wondering how is Avril Bandaids financially able to do this? Avril Bandaids relies on donations, and as some of you will know Bandaids Member Jonas (El_Gordo) has frequently donated to Bandaids on numerous occasions and supported the Invisible Children Project too. Jonas has been incredibly generous, and has recently donated $1000 to Bandaids and for the benefit of it's members! What's the donation going to be used for? You see that gorgeous chatbox you all love at the top of your screen? The money so far has helped get that back up and running for you all! As well as going towards helping out with various site finances, Jonas has requested that it be used for a special Christmas Lottery and to help spruce up the BandaidsBux store too! It must have taken Avril an hour to do all these interviews in her little via-phone Abbey Dawn press conference. Today we have two new interviews, thanks to Bandaids' member onlyavril, with MTV and AZFamily. Av once again showed off three outfits and was certainly in promotion mode as she discussed her line and her singing career.  Well, kids, the media from Avril and Deryck's outing to Koi Restaurant on August 23rd with Robb Dipple and Alli Sims keep pouring in. The pair clearly couldn't get enough of Koi's fine food, going to the restaurant for the second time in two days. The pictures and videos show Avril, who paused to sign some autographs, and her man looking very happy and loving, even in front of the cameras, before taking off.  Just another manic Monday? No worries folks, as you all know Monday's Picture of the Day Theme is The Best Damn Thing era! Today's picture is from Avril Lavigne's simply stunning show at The Roxy Theatre in LA! Back in October 2007 Avril geared herself up for the most special and intimate show of her career. Armed with an acoustic guitar and a warm smile, Avril took to the small staging area and amazed the even smaller crowd of only 25 people. Prior to The Best Damn Tour, Avril performed new and old songs acoustically for her fans also including Keep Holding On, Knocking on Heaven's Door, Innocence, Girlfriend and an amazing cover of Sarah McLachla's Adia plus many more! This show will be a landmark in her singing career, which is why it is truly The Best Damn Thing!

We have already seen funky adverts around MySpace and Google featuring Avril modelling her ultra-cool clothes, as well as an interview where she talks exclusively to younghollywood about her excitement at launching her new designs. As with every Sunday's Picture of the Day, we take the time out of our busy, Avril-filled lives to...erm...look at Avril some more! And if you know your PotDs like the back of your hand by now (you mean you don't?!), then you should be well aware that today we look at our favourite pictures of when Avril is arguably at her best: the photoshoot. Today, I'll be choosing a simply kick-ass photo of Avril from her earlier days. In this picture, we see Avril Lavigne, the woman we all know and love putting her life in what looks like iminent danger. Just how high is Avril jumping here? And speaking of which, how on earth did she jump that high?! A trampoline? Superpowers? Something else? Well whatever's allowing her to jump this high, the effect is pretty damn amazing, if I may say so myself.
