 According to a new article posted by Bandaids member Jimmyzz, an Alice In Wonderland fan event will be held in Hollywood on February 19th! It kicks off at 5 p.m. while having scheduled events including live performances by the artists featured on the films soundtrack "Almost Alice"! Avril isn't confirmed to perform yet but let's keep our fingers and toes crossed in hopes to see her perform "Alice" for the first time!  All you crazy musicians out there, I have very good news! Bandaids X Factor is back! Yes, the chance to show off your singing skills to the world is now upon you! Over a series of auditions, performances, and member polls budding musicians/singers will battle it out to be crowned the most talented music act on Bandaids - and there's over 100,000 of you here so that would be a huge accomplishment!! Last year Bandaids X Factor brought in over 30,000 views from members, over 1,000 votes, and even lead to one of our finalists getting a position in her school band as a singer (Hey Theresa! haha). Yes Bandaids X Factor is truly a great oppurtunity for starting musicians to finally get heard by an audience! The auditions begin on February 15th, and more details will be revealed as the comeptition reveals itself! We have a load of surprises, some awesome judges, a friendly member audience who support the artists, and a great atmosphere for people who want to be noticed to grow as musicians! The version that Avril premired a couple of weeks ago on Ryan Seacrest's radio show was just the radio edit. The new extended version of the song boasts an unheard of second verse. Before The Best Damn Thing was released, she came out with "Keep Holding On". Now, before she releases her fourth record, she has released "Alice".  Thanks to Heather from Fansite Connection, we have a brand new interview from Avril's former guitarist, Devin Bronson. In the interview, he talks all about Avril, Evan and Sum 41. He said that he loves Evan's upcoming album and called Evan's "Starbucks Girl" cute. He also said that he's loving what he's heard of Sum 41's new material that they're preparing for their upcoming album. When asked if he had any plans to tour with Avril in the future, he said "hmmmmmmmmmmm". We'll just have to cross our fingers! He also complemented Avril's vocal skills, and mentioned that he hangs out with Avril, Deryck and Evan whenever he gets a chance since they all live in Los Angeles. She's really kicking off promo for her brand new song "Alice," explaining how she became apart of the project and exclaiming her excitement for the movie. She talked a bit about her fragrance Black Star and the history behind her nickname, Abbey Dawn. She even said she got her new Abbey Dawn tattoo because it means a lot to her! Aww. Avril also states she'd love to one day have a museum. Now how freakin' cool would that be?! A couple of days ago we learned of an alleged collaboration between Slash and Avril Lavigne, but we unfortunately have found out it was a misunderstanding. Instead of saying he worked with Avril Lavigne, he in fact said Adam Levine, Maroon 5's frontman. This post is to hopefully avoid and end any confusion on the issue.  There's been lots of buzz with the Grammys this evening, one in particular has caught our eyes. Bandaids member Camber239 has posted that during a pre-Grammy red carpet interview with TV Guide, Slash mentioned other artists he's collaborated with for his record and mentioned none other than miss Avril Lavigne. Avril's never addressed this rumor or confirmed it herself, so hopefully we can expect to see this video interview on YouTube soon.
